Faced in April 2012 with a number of reports that reveal the inhumane conditions at Immigrations and Customs Enforcement detention centers – including sexual assaults, spoiled food, and immigrant smuggling – some Republican Congressmen argued that remedying these horrific conditions would turn these facilities into "college campuses," "recesses" or "holidays."
