Romney's Carbon Dioxide Hot Air

At an November 2011 event in New Hampshire, presidential candidate Mitt Romney argued against the Environmental Protection Agency regulating carbon dioxide emissions. He claimed, “I exhale carbon dioxide. I don’t want those guys following me around with a meter to see if I’m breathing too hard.” This is despite scientific evidence of the contribution of carbon dioxide to global warming and ocean acidification and the U.S. Supreme Court deciding in Massachusetts vs. EPA in 2007 that carbon dioxide is a pollutant under the Clean Air Act.
